Rally
In Support of Education
in North Carolina &
Henderson County
The Henderson County NAACP will hold a silent rally on the steps of the
Old Courthouse at 5:00
PM
on June 3rd in support of education in the state and county.
Please
contact other organizations to join in the rally which is just before
the County Commission's
budget meeting,
scheduled for 5:30 in the Old Courthouse.
 Please

Message from the Chair
Dear Fellow Democrat,
My commitment to you as a result of the feedback we got from precinct
meetings was to improve the communication within the party. This is the
first in our endeavor to respond to that feedback.
For those of you who were at the convention, let me thank you for
your participation. For those that may have missed it this year- you
missed a great event. It was great for a number of reasons:
there were over 140 attendees; all of our precincts were
represented
there were guest speakers who gave us the real low-down on
Raleigh
more volunteers signed-up than ever ( We
still need more.)
a lot of progressive chatter was overheard and there was a
sense of energy from everyone that was palpable!
It was truly a time to be proud as a Democrat in Henderson County.
