Back To School Drive

Updated: 5 days ago

August is drawing near! That means kids will be getting ready to go back to school.

Many need school supplies their families can't afford.

Thanks to Debbie Roundtree's (City Council Member) Back to School Event and School Supply Collection, several hundred students can begin school with the supplies they need again this year.

We think this is a worthy cause and have helped Debbie collect donations over the years.

This is all possible because of you!

If you would like to donate to Debbie's Back to School Event, you may drop off bookbags with school supplies (inside them) to our office at 1216th Avenue West, Hendersonville, beginning August 15-20, Monday through Saturday, 11 am to 2 pm. We will deliver the donations to Debbie on August 20, 3 pm.

School Supply Needs: bookbags for all ages, wide ruled paper, college ruled paper, pencils, pens, crayons, scissors, glue sticks, pocket folders (all colors), spiral notebooks (all colors)

We do not accept cash donations. However, if you want to make a cash donation, please mail it to: Back to School Festival, 807 Robinson Terrace, Hendersonville, NC 28792.

If you'd like to attend, ask questions, and/or help with the event, please contact Debbie Roundtree at for details. The event is scheduled for Sunday, August 21, 2 pm to 6 pm, Sullivan Park, Hendersonville.
