If you've been looking for a way to help during the national crisis we're all facing, here's a great opportunity. We need greeters and observers for the upcoming NC Primary in which Democrats and unaffiliated voters will help choose the best candidates to run against MAGA-backed Republicans. The Primary is also a fantastic time to make sure we have strong systems in place for the midterms this fall. We need to have all hands on deck to ensure a fair and peaceful election.

HCDP's new events for 2026 kick off this week, with Coffee Break on Tuesday Jan. 13th at 9:30 am at the office *AND* Happy Hour on Thursday Jan 15th at Mills River Brewing, starting at 6 pm. We hope to see you at one or both of these! They're a great opportunity to meet people, learn what's going on, and build community.
