New 'Morning Momentum' Series begins with School Board Candidates

Join us for the first Morning Momentum, a new series of informal gatherings, on April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to Noon at the VFW, 900 N. Main Street, Hendersonville.

Featured this month are Henderson County Board of Public Education candidates Reid Barwick and Mary Ellen Kustin. 

The new Morning Momentum series will continue on the fourth Saturday of each month and feature engaging guest speakers who can address key local issues, statewide priorities, and highlight both local and North Carolina Democratic candidates. 

All are invited to attend. A light continental breakfast will be provided, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to start the day. This month, the meeting is free.
