5-Precinct Event: Speed Date Your Candidates

Would you like to get to know the people running to represent our community—without having to listen to long, formal speeches?

On Saturday, July 25, join Etowah Vally, Horse Shoe, North Mills River, Pisgah View and South Mills River precincts as we host a fast-paced, high-energy "Speed Dating" style event! This is your chance to sit face-to-face with 5 Democrat candidates, ask your burning questions, and hear their visions firsthand. Where else can you get up close and personal with 5 candidates in an hour?

Our invited candidates are:

• Doyle Brown (NC Senate 48)

• Lynne Russo (NC House 117)

• Mary Ellen Kustin (Henderson County School Board)

• Toby Hampson (NC Court of Appeals Judge)

Session One: 1:30 to 3:00Session Two: 2:30 to 4:00

Location: Guidon Brewing Company, 415 8th Avenue E, Hendersonville

Bring the kids: We will have a supervised kids' table with coloring books and crayons to keep the little ones entertained while you chat. (Sorry, no pets allowed)

Parking: There’s plenty of parking. Volunteers will help you find a spot out front or in the nearby gravel lot.
