Amendments on the 2026 Ballot
There will be several amendments to the NC state constituion on your ballot this year. The Democratic Party recommends voting NO on all of them.

While some have appealing titles, their effect is to limit adequate funding for public education and infrastructure, limit the power of counties to raise funds for operations and improvements, and further curtail the Governor’s power. These amendments were added to motivate Republican voters to get to the polls. A similar strategy was employed by Republicans in 2018 – and it was extremely successful.
