Appellate Court Candidates to discuss the impact of court decisions

Our Morning Momentum series continues July 25 with Appellate Court candidates Toby Hampson and Christine Walczyk, both experienced judges running for NC Appellate Court. Submit a question for the judges.

Judge Toby Hampson was first elected to the North Carolina Court of Appeals in 2018. Judge Christine Walczyk has been a district court trial judge in Wake County for 19 years. They'll talk about the role and importance of our Court of Appeals.

Electing more Democrats to North Carolina courts is a major focus for the party this year as Republican-controlled courts continue to restrict voting rights, allow money to go to companies like Duke Energy and keep money from our schools.

Join us on Saturday July 25 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the VFW, 900 N Main. Food and beverages will be provided (we call it "morning eats and treats"). Socializing starts at 9:30 and our program will start at 10:15.
