Updated: 7 hours ago

As we reflect on Memorial Day and the sacrifices made by Americans who served our country, let’s also turn our attention to strengthening democracy here at home. Henderson County Democrats invite you to a Community Summer Event where we’ll honor the past while building a better future.

📅 Date and Time:

Friday, June 13th at 5:00 PM

📍 Location:

Guidon Brewery Community Room 418 8th Avenue East, Hendersonville, NC

This gathering brings together precincts from Hendersonville 1 & 2, Long John Mountain, Grimesdale, and Northwest Precincts for an evening of connection, conversation, and action.

🥤 Enjoy drinks, snacks, and lively games like cornhole.🍻 The first 50 attendees will receive a free beer!

🎤 Special Guests Include:

  • Bill Baugh, newly elected District 11 Democratic Chair

  • Marcus Blankenship, Congressional candidate for District 11

  • NC State Representatives Eric Ager and Jay Carey, addressing veterans’ issues and state concerns.

🔵 This event isn’t just about fun and food—it’s about recognizing that the power of the people is greater than the people in power. Now more than ever, it’s crucial that we come together as a community to discuss, strategize, and act for positive change.

✉️ RSVP Today!

Please RSVP to Evette Strickland at evettedcs@aol.com or text 423-355-7255.
