LWV program on immigration features author raised in Hendersonville

We're happy to share the news about a timely and relevant program. The League of Women Voters of Henderson County is hosting a program on immigration enforcement policy in North Carolina and across the country on Tuesday, February 24th, from 11:30 am to 1 pm at First Congregational Church, 1735 5th Ave West.


The guest speaker will be Dr. Felicia Arriaga, who was born and raised in Hendersonville and is currently an Assistant Professor at Baruch College in New York City. Dr. Arriaga is author of Behind 'Crimmigration': ICE, Law Enforcement, and Resistance in America.
