What’s at Stake?

This bill includes cruel and sweeping cuts to essential services and rights:

Medicaid: Up to 13.7 million people could lose access, including low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities.
SNAP (food stamps): Over 11 million people, including 4 million children, will be cut off.
Child Tax Credit: 4.5 million kids will lose support (not counting 17 million who already don’t qualify due to poverty).
Rural Healthcare: Funding for rural hospitals and clinics is slashed, threatening access in communities like ours.
Environmental Protections: Clean air and water rules, national parks funding, and EPA enforcement would be gutted.
Education and Social Services: Grants for education and nutrition programs are eliminated.
Immigrant Rights: Benefits are stripped from undocumented and many legal immigrants.
LGBTQ+ Youth: Federal funds for gender-affirming care would be banned.
