Hendersonville, NC – On April 15th, the Henderson County Democratic Party held its annual convention. 83 Democrats met together representing 22 Organized Precincts within the county.
They heard messages digitally from NC Democratic Party Chair Anderson Clayton, Governor Roy Cooper, Atty. General Josh Stein, and Wesley Harris. The keynote speaker for the event was representative Eric Ager.
The convention elected new county officers and state executive committee delegates. After elections, several resolutions were discussed with those accepted progressing to the district for consideration. If passed they will continue to the state convention.
The members at the convention expressed their appreciation for the hard work of the outgoing Chair, Cindy Ellis, and welcomed the newly elected chair for the 2023-25 cycle, Michelle Antalec.
