Trump's tax cuts for the rich will save the top 1% of income earners more than $1 trillion in the next 10 years, more than $75,000 annually for the richest households. To offset this give away, the Republicans slashed an estimated $700 billion in funding for Medicaid over the next decade. They also cut $186 billion for SNAP (food stamps) benefits. And they have allowed insurance premium tax credits relied upon by some 22 million Americans to expire in the Republicans late

Proposed State Board of Election rules would implement a memorandum of agreement with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that would provide DHS access to all North Carolina voter registrations. If you've been looking for a way to help during the national crisis we're all facing, here's a great opportunity. We need greeters and observers for the upcoming NC Primary in which Democrats and unaffiliated voters will help choose the best candidates to run against MAGA-backed Republicans. The Primary is also a fantastic time to make sure we have strong systems in place for the midterms this fall. We need to have all hands on deck to ensure a fair and peaceful election.
